It's LC, Baby

Laguna Beach babe turned Hills-Hottie turned best-selling novelist turned fashion designer is literally TURNING heads. Lauren Conrad is only 28 and already has built her own empire. Sure she had help from having the luxury of being raised in a rich California town that just so happened to become famous by MTV overnight, but she is the reason it was such a success. Everybody remembers "LC" as the star of the reality show, Laguna Beach. With such success from the show, she was offered her own spin-off in which she follows her dreams to Los Angeles: "The Hills." She learned so much from working with Teen Vogue and People's Revolution to the point where she left the show to create her empire. And boy did she. Conrad has written eight books, to which I am OBSESSED with. She designs for Papercrown and has her own line at Kohl's called "LC by Lauren Conrad." It is affordable fashion that can be worn by any age. We can't seem to get over how she is one of the few reality stars that is actually successful and not a total nut-- like her former bff Heidi Montag. Kudos to you, LC.
Here is the top outfits this summer for her collection at Kohl's:

Denim shorts practically read summer. Add some fresh cuffed denim shorts with a fun, subtle polka dot pleated top. Can you go wrong with a fun and flirty dress? Try this fit and flare blue dress with a beachy print and a contrast trimming. Nothing says effortless yet chic than a maxi dress. This maxi is made of a soft jersey material yet it elongates your body and makes you look like you put a lot of thought into your outfit yet it's so laidback.

I cannot get enough of this first outfit. These black 3D print shorts are to die for. this chiffon blouse with a structured collar adds some formality to this look and this can be worn to a more dressed-up events with some black pumps. This pink maxi dress is everything. A subtle ombre on a maxi dress makes the dress more interesting and has an extra pretty effect! Dip-dye dresses are perfection. Nothing is more on-trend right now than a circle skirt. Tuck this chiffon button-up tank into this black skirt for a more than flattering look.

Get nautical and nice in this first outfit. Blue and white: what is more crisp for summer? The crochet bib and the pleats on this navy top give it a signature charm and the white skinnies just make the outfit. If you want the long look but really don't want to wear a dress then this second outfit is the one for you. You've got a whimsical, cream chiffon maxi that is pleated and then mixed with a black tank with a peter pan collar-- this outfit is charming with a feminine flair. Love lace? Me too! This beautiful lace design all over the dress adds a sophistication to the occasion.

Set your sails on this skirt! This sailboat print skirt brings a nautical theme to your look. Add some flirtiness to this look with a lace-trim chiffon tank and some cute wedges. So let's say you have to go somewhere formal but it is so hot out, but you still want to look good. No fear here. This outfit consists of black pumps, a classic black skirt, a white blouse tank, and a pale blue blazer. It reads dressy yet it reads summer-- score. Take your casual look to the next level. here is some white skinnies with a sun washed graphic t-shirt with a sailboat beach print made out of jersey for an airy look and feel.

Green with Envy

What color reads fall? Green! Ahh it feels as if you are taking a trip to Emerald City. Redheads rejoice. There are different shades and hues for every skin tone out there. It could either be a pair of earrings, a jacket, pants, a dress, even eye makeup. Green is a color that can transition throughout the whole year; from moss green, , hunter, to emerald, to neon. People are naturally attracted to the color green because it represents life, so why not wear it and grab the attention of others?

Lace is always a classy choice, but sometimes lace dresses aren't always that warm. But in fashion, we risk the cold to look cute, and a green lace dress looks fall enough to make it look like it was meant to be worn in the cold weather. The best time to wear a green sweater, is all the time; in a time where green trees turn brown and lose their life, you be the tree. Accenting a plain colored dress with a bold emerald necklace draws everyone's attention to your smile. Want to brighten up your face? Green smoky eyes are all the rage this fall to bring out your natural color in your face. And of course we have the ever-so-famous military jacket. Pair it with a striped top, some skinnies, and some flats for a casual chic look, and don't forget your red lipstick. These clothes will make you green with envy.
