Award ceremonies are like Super Bowls. And the red carpet is the pregame show. Celebs attending the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards - the last big hurrah before the Oscars- made sure to show off their finest duds on the red carpet. Red carpets have their hits and misses, but this year's SAG Awards was sure a hit.

 

Best Of The Best: Award winner Claire Danes looks feminine in a sweeping patterned Louis Vuitton with hand-stitched silk flower appliqués. The best actress nominee wears an utterly elegant red lace Oscar de La Renta gown and platinum-and-diamond Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. The Conviction nominee looks award winning in a one-shoulder blush Versace with jeweled details and romantic curls. January Jones sashays down the red carpet in an elegant lace Carolina Herrera gown and Roger Vivier gold pumps.

White Carpet: Heather Morris looks ultra-fem in a blush silk chiffon strapless gown with rosette bodice from designer Romona Keveza. Amy Adams looks ultra-sleek in a curve-skimming Hervé L. Leroux halter gown. Lea Michele sure stands out in a beaded Oscar de la Renta gown and $1 million in Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Natalie Portman shows off her baby-bump in a form-fitting white Azzaro gown with sequined detail and Roger Vivier black satin clutch.

Black Is Back: Glee actress Amber Riley stunned in this black one-shoulder ruffled Anne Barge dress. Kyra Sedgwick showed off her phenomenal body in plunging vintage Thierry Mugler couture, keeping the rest of her details simple. Nicole Kidman is feminine in a lace-back Nina Ricci gown and Fred Leighton diamond-and-enamel necklace. Award Winner Julie Bowen joked of her sleek, modern Malandrino pantsuit, which she accented with Neil Lane jewels.
