Sweater dresses are one of the hottest winter 2010 women's favorite fashion trends. Cold weather doesn't mean you have to trade in the minis for pants!  Sweater dresses are increasing in popularity due to their extreme versatility and easy to wear style. This sweater dress is a perfect way to stay in a chic, sexy, stylish and warm. Macy's, H&M, and American Apparel have a range of styles that go from sophisticated and dolled up to cozy, chunky, and playful. Look for sweater dresses that give you some shape rather than making you look like you’re wearing a sack. The fun thing about sweaters dresses is that they can be dressed up or down to be appropriate for any situation. For a casual look, pair your sweater dress with tights, boots (either knee-high or ankle booties), and accessorize! For that daring look, go for bare legs and stilettos. To top the look off, get out that statement bag and some chunky jewelry. Damsel In Distressed Denim

Fashion is fleeting but every now and then a style emerges that takes hold in the minds and hearts of fashion critics the world over. It seems like denim trends change everyday; the trouser jean, the skinny jean, the boyfriend jean, and the distressed jean. The ripped denim trend has hit the streets! Your grandmother, and parents probably won't approve but they'll have to get used to it; these jeans are in full force! We wear these jeans as if they've survived the washer machine a thousand times. We are at a point, where everyday clothing can be ripped and considered an average trend. True Religion and Diesel are raising the bar when it comes to distressed jeans. The key to wearing distressed denim is to make sure that you look trendy and chic, and not as though you just stole a homeless man’s pants. These jeans can be casual as well as dressy. A classic casual outfit is the boyfriend cut distressed denim, paired with a simple white blouse or tee shirt, topped off with flats or converses. For a dressy look, go for a more slimmer fit of distressed denim. A blazer, a basic tank top, stilettos or high boots, chunky jewelry and of course the statement bag are the way to go to dress up that denim. We live in times when distress is actually in fashion.

Walking In A Winter Wear Wonderland!

Time to bundle up! It happens every winter: You get excited for the first snowfall and break out my favorite mittens and scarves, but come mid-January, you're over the white stuff and stuck firmly in an outerwear rut. The weather is officially turning to winter! As much as we will nice weather, one thing that gets us excited for the cold season is all the cute and cozy accessories! Knit or faux is definatly the way to go this season. A sophisticated fur scarf is a big cold weather accessory. Also, chunky knits are still going strong - think long scarves, fair-isle patterns and cable knit knee or above-the knee socks. Layering and color correlation are the key to effective winter fashion. If you’re wearing too many colors in addition to having many layers, you’re going to look like a walking circus. Its the season with the chance to over-accessorize guilt free. So cover that noggin, but do it in style!

Boho Glam

The idea of hippie chic used to be something of a novelty. Fortunately, the bohemian look has gone to a stylish new place. Boho chic has been trending for a couple of seasons, and it’s back in force for Fall. The Bohemian trend: bandanas, short leather and corduroy jackets, fringed scarves, all-denim get-ups, oversized blouses, floral and polka dot blouses, fringes retro 1960′s and 70′s, have held a fashion stronghold since around 2005. Boho style is not just for sunny spring any longer.  Each season, you can incorporate boho elements with seasonal pieces. Today it’s easier to sport a boho chic trend because the greatest fashion houses promote an ultimate ethnic and modern frock type: a fringed dress. Sorry Boho Chic haters, belts and boots look like they have staying power along with pendants, over-sized earrings, long chains and droop earrings. Keep in mind that a little goes a long way, and you should have no trouble putting together a boho chic ensemble. 

Daring Doc Martens

In yet another display of fashion’s return to the 90′s, Doc Martens are officially hot again.  With rugged boots coming back into style, it was only a matter of time before Dr. Martens started to to, once again, grace the pages of fashion magazines. Get those creative juices flowing and get a pair! The original aggressive shoes, Doc Martens always make a fashion statement. Combat boots are no longer reserved for punks but are a stylish way to toughen up girly looks or inject some authentic rockability factor into one's wardrobe. Don't rule out wearing skirts and dresses with these boots. Even though flannels were usually paired with Doc Martens, they dont necessarily work today. For a casusl look, pair these boots with skinnies, a fitted tee and a scarf or leather jacket. For a feminine look, mix it up florals or lace, and dont forget the black tights! This season they have been thoroughly integrated into mainstream fashion. These boots were actually first introduced during World War II as military wear and now comes in a variety of styles and colors. These shoes are made for walking - right into the fashion history books.

Oxford Obsession

Since menswear is such a popular trend for fall, we couldnt help it to fall in love with oxford shoes. Yes we have seen this style around before but it has been stored away in closets for quite some time. The Oxford has gone beyond the suit and tie and can be worn with mini skirts, rolled up boyfriend jeans and dresses but paired with classic formal styles is timeless. With a professional appeal attached to them, the masculine looking pair of shoes called brogues or Oxford made a huge sensation this year. These shoes are loved for their flawless professional look attached to the perfect sophisticated leather and with all these qualities we forget that they're men's inspired. The best way to wear them business-like is to choose a more masculine outfit like some fitted pants and a blazer but in the same time to balance the contrast between feminine and masculine you should add some refine jewels, a feminine sexy blouse, a colorful bag, and a scarf with floral prints. They are a chic way to compliment a more casual outfit and great way to spice up a day to day. These aren't just your dad's shoes.
